The state of Happeo’s Lifecycle Management was one of the topics we covered in the Roadmap webinar we held in October. After receiving feedback from our customers, we recognized that this feature wasn’t working as intended.

At Happeo, we strive to continuously enhance our platform so it meets the expectations of our users. We have already made some improvements to the feature and are now taking the next step: Lifecycle Management’s auto-archiving feature will be temporarily unavailable for customers from November 23rd. This will allow us to work on improving the automation engine. Read more below.

Content auto-archiving will be temporarily unavailable

Starting November 23rd, Lifecycle Management’s auto-archiving feature will be temporarily unavailable for all customers. The plan is to bring this back before the end of Q1 2024.

This precaution ensures your content is protected while we work on improving the automation engine. Once done, this will enable timely notifications for your content owners about the freshness of their Pages and Channels.

In the meantime, Admins can manually audit stale content in the Lifecycle Management tab of the Admin Settings page. Owners can similarly audit their assigned stale content using the Lifecycle tab of their My Settings page.

If you have any questions regarding the feature, please reach out to your CSM.

Here are the changes we’ve already made to Lifecycle management:

  • ‘Stale’ Pages and Channels can now be found in the Lifecycle Management tab on the Admin Settings page.
  • We‘ve updated the content-status calculations, improving its accuracy and reliability.
  • Interface improvements have made it easier for you to understand when a Page has no author assigned or when a Page author or Channel owner is suspended.
  • We’re also doing a minor clean-up of the wording used in the Pages and Channels tabs on the Admin Settings page.

What's next?

We’ll keep you up to date on our progress with Lifecycle Management’s auto-archiving function over the next few months.
