Jurisdiction governing Happeo's IT infrastructure
Happeo hosts the Happeo platform on Google’s cloud and does not manage its own infrastructure. Happeo data is hosted across the EU and hence the laws of several EU countries apply (including e.g. Belgium and the Netherlands).
Happeo hosts a limited amount of non-personal data in the US, including access tokens to some of its integrations, in which case US laws apply. Additionally, logs are stored globally, in which case the law of the storage country applies.
Technical, organizational, and contractual measures for the prevention of third-country governmental access to non-personal data held in the EU
Technical and organizational measures
For Happeo’s technical and organizational measures, see Happeo’s DPA. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Please note that Happeo hosts Happeo platform data on Google’s cloud in the EU. You can find Google’s security measures here.
Contractual measures
As Happeo platform data is hosted in the EU (apart from the above exclusions), Google is obliged to comply with EU laws as well as national laws of the EU member states where the data is stored, including in case of any access or transfer requests from third-country governments.
